Hi, I want to extend my single entry visa for another 30 days.

I know I need a photo and some other bits. But what about outgoing flight? I was due to fly home on 29th October. Do I cancel that flight and book another? Because I would like to also do a border run after the 30 days if that's possible 

So do people just keep rebooking flights?

If you are going to do a BORDER BOUNCE, we suggest you ask your local experienced border run service company to take you to the Thai border, cross and re-enter Thailand the same day.

Go to your local Thai Immigration office and apply for the 30 days extension of stay. Cost is 1900 Thai baht.

Beyond that do your research of posts on this forum. Border Bounce is possible with maximum of 2 LAND BORDER BOUNCE entries into Thailand EACH CALENDAR YEAR. Each Entry is Visa Exempt and gets you 30 days stamp plus one 30 day extension of stay at local Thai Immigration office for 1900 Thai baht.

Here's the common found requirements for the 30 days extension of stay...be sure you have a TM30 address registration on file with Thai Immigration.
