I’m planning to be back in Thailand in the next few days after my trip offshore, probably 18th. I have a re-entry permit which expires on the 20th January.
My question is if I enter using this I would only get the 2 days but could I then extend this at immigration on the Monday the 20th and get the 60 days extension?
My re-entry is a non - o single based on my child.
But also I was in Thailand last month using my 2nd Uk passport as my passport with re-entry was in Indian embassy... just wondering if that re-entry became void or what??
Or it easier just entering on a visa exempt??
Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether they can extend their Non-O visa after using a re-entry permit that expires shortly after their return to Thailand. They are considering entering with a visa exempt status and are unsure about the status of their re-entry permit due to recent travel using a different passport. One commenter suggests entering with a visa exempt status and extending later if needed.
