Question: I am on a Non-O (marriage) multiple entry visa (from Savanaket) which expires 3 April 2024. If I come back to Thailand 2 April I still get 90 days but if I fly out and come back to Thailand within those 90 days after 3 April should I apply for re-entry permit or can I not do that because basically the Non-O is expired already??

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is on a Non-O (marriage) multiple entry visa expiring on 3 April 2024 and inquires if returning to Thailand on 2 April would allow for a full 90 days before needing to leave again. Comments confirm that obtaining a re-entry permit before leaving ensures that the current visa stamp remains valid, allowing for re-stamping upon return.

Yes, you can get a re-entry permit before you leave Thailand to keep your current stamp 'alive'. You will be stamped in for a whole new 90 days when you enter 2 April. You will be stamped in again until the same date.
