Hello ππ I entered Thailand on a 60-day tourist visa and extended it for 30 days. By the end of this month, my total stay will be 90 days. Can I extend my visa for another 30 days, or will I need to leave the country and do a border run? Thank you in advance π

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the possibility of extending their 90-day tourist visa in Thailand. Most responses indicated that further extensions are not possible, and they would need to perform a border run to receive a new visa stamp. It was suggested to use a service for the border run, and it was noted that some require an overnight stay at the border for the new visa to be granted.
I was in Bangkok and was told that if you do a border run you have to stay one night there otherwise you wonβt get your new 60 day extension is this correct
, No, it's not correct. No written rule that states the minimum stay out of Thailand. No problem with you just leave and enter Thailand again within a day time-wise.
That is border checkpoint-specific whether that has a xx-nights-out policy, not a general rule.
You'll need to do a border run. I'm doing mine tomorrow as my stamp date is 2nd December 3500 baht and that includes breakfast. Pick ups are early from jomtien Pattaya.
Use Tour and Travel in pattaya. They did it for me 2 weeks ago.

You have to leave Thailand and do a BORDER BOUNCE to re-enter and get a NEW 60 days STAMP on arrival
Suggest you use an experienced border run service company to take you to the border, cross and reenter the same day and back to your home city in Thailand.
