I extended my 2 month tourist visa already 30 days. Now I can stay till 27. March. Originally I planned to go to Vietnam or Malaysia and apply for a new 2 month visa. But now I'm not sure if I can come back with my Swiss Passport. What should I do? Visa run to the border asap to get new 30 days?

Answer summary

The user has extended their tourist visa and is considering doing a border run to secure a new 30-day stay in Thailand. Comments suggest that as long as they have not exhausted their two allowed land entries under the visa-exempt scheme, a border run could be a viable solution to extend their stay.

Michael you have many suggestions. Mine is like several...do a border run ASAP. Gives you 30 days + 30 days extension...Can be done twice each calendar year...

Good Luck.

AS long as you don't use up two land entry on visa-exempt scheme, you can do border bounce at land border to be stamped for 30days.,
