Hi

I’m wondering what’s the chances during these times to extend my tourist visa once more before I return home on 13th September?

I arrived 18th April on a SETV Iv extended it and that will run out in 3 weeks time then I planned on going to a neighbouring country for one month then return to Thailand on a 30 day stamp and then flyback to my home country but now I’m thinking just go to neighbouring country and bounce back in on 30 day stamp and get another extension then return home but wondering if they refuse to give me a second extension.

These are the only two extensions Iv ever done but they close together.

Any help will be appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility of extending their tourist visa in Thailand after their current extension expires, considering they have already extended their visa and are contemplating a border run to obtain a new 30-day stamp. Community responses indicate that a border run can grant a new visa-exempt entry which is eligible for a 30-day extension, regardless of previous extensions, suggesting that the user should be able to get another extension if the process is followed correctly.

You can apply for a 30days tourism extension once per entry based on tourism purposes. Your tourism extension from another entry wouldn't affect it.

If you bounce out of the country, you get a NEW Visa Exempt Entry of 30 days and this can be extended once with another 30 days based on tourism.

What you had in the past does not count.

No, they are not hungry, it is a very old rule that people are allowed to leave the country and come back with a new entry.

It changed in 2016 into maximum 2 times using land borders.

Each and every entry based on tourism can be extended once with another 30 days based on tourism since 1975.
