Hello everyone, I'm coming to Thailand from Vietnam on a visa exemption, I have a UK passport. I'm aware that I'll get 30 days in the country. Will I be able to extend this while I am there as it's not a Visa as such? If not is it possible to do a border run to Laos or perhaps back to Vietnam? Any advice would be much appreciated.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers holding a UK passport can enter Thailand on a visa exemption for 30 days. It is possible to obtain a 30-day extension for a fee of 1,900 baht at any immigration office. Alternatively, if you choose not to extend, a border run to neighboring countries like Laos or Vietnam is also an option, though it's essential to check the re-entry requirements.
