However, it looks easier to apply for a 60 day single entry tourist visa from Singapore for me to make a trip back to see my family. Can I extend the 60 days inside Thailand if needed to ? T.I.A

from Singapore ? Yes the marriage is 400k for 3 months now ( use to be statement of the day ). Single entry tourist visa is 3,000 sgd which is approx 71,000 thb. I'm covered for both but only intend 2 months max so will will for the easier to apply for TV.Reply to

You can extend a 60 day tourist visa ONCE for 30 days, and you could also get another 60 days based on visiting thai family OR meet the requirements and get a year extension based on marriage to a thai.
