Hey!

I am going to apply for a Single Entry Tourist Visa (60 days) before I head to Thailand in November. Just to double check I

can extend this for another 30 days for 1900bhat?

I will entering Thailand via Koh Lipe and if I can extend my visa I will do it at Koh Samui if that makes a difference.

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can extend your Single Entry Tourist Visa (60 days) for an additional 30 days by paying a fee of 1900 baht. However, the timing of your extension request is important; it is generally recommended to apply for an extension when you have 30 days or less on your entry stamp, although some locations may have different rules. It is advisable to check with the specific immigration office regarding their policies.

, careful with broad brush answers. :O

Most immigration offices will let you get an extension when you have 30 days or less left on your entry stamp.

Bangkok and Chiang Mai will do it at 45 days or less BUT Jomtien and some other offices will only do it when you have 15 days or less.

Check with your immigration office to see what rule they have and follow

Yes you can. And you can extend any time before the initial 60 days are up.
