When Can I Extend My 60-Day Single Entry Tourist Visa in Koh Samui?
I am at day 27 of my 60 day single entry tourist visa. I want to extend my visa at Samui, so I can stay 90 days. Because of Corona I want to do this as quick as possible. On what day will they allow me to come in and do this?
Answer summary
You can extend your 60-day single entry tourist visa in Koh Samui within the last 30 days of your current stay, ideally during the last 7 days if the immigration office is busy. Despite concerns regarding COVID-19, the standard procedures remain the same.

Paranoia is not good in live, take a deep breath relax and enjoy your holiday.

On Koh Samui it is depending on how busy the office is, maximum is during the last 30 days of your stay or when busy it could be only during the last 7 days. Corona has nothing to do with this, do not make things difficult in live.

it's just that I'm afraid that Thailand will decide overnight that there won't be any ferrys going. At least I will have my extension then. Jeremy ********
You could have extended it 12 days ago...or on Monday if you want

Please do not start with pandemic going on, there are 82 patients in Thailand. Rules did not change at Immigration Offices.

They changed, their policy?
