Hi, in Samui can I just go to immigration asap to extend for 30 days after arriving for it to be added on? Also, is it only the once you can do this and if you wanted to stay any longer you'd have to leave the country then come back? Going travelling with my son so doing this won't be an issue but just thought I would check ๐
TLDR : Answer Summary
In Samui, you can apply for a 30-day extension of stay at the immigration office; however, it's often suggested to wait until you have about two weeks left on your initial stay. The extension can only be applied for once per entry, meaning if you need to stay longer after that, you'll have to exit the country and re-enter with a new visa or under a visa exemption.
