Hi guys. I hold a Maltese passport and paid for a two week visa on arrival at the airport. Do you know if I am eligible to extend it? I am hoping to stay at least one month. Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Visa on arrivals in Thailand cannot be extended. If you are hoping to stay for a month, you might need to look into obtaining a different visa before your arrival or consider exiting and re-entering Thailand with a new visa.

you can apply for an extension at a local immigration office. If they accept the application it will be denied and you will be given 7 days to leave the country. Not all offices will do this and it’s up to the discretion of the immigration officer you apply to.
