TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking information on extending their Visa on Arrival, which only allows for a 14-day stay. They are unsure if visiting Thai immigration would provide them with a longer stay. Comments suggest that the maximum extension possible is 7 days for a fee, and alternatively, the user may consider exiting and re-entering the country to obtain another visa.

Let's ask someone who knows
@Amor****
, can Bhutanese passport holders get single entry tourist visas in Vientiane? They aren't on the list of prohibited countries

Bhutan is OK, no problem. Your country has very good relation with Thailand, hence Bhutan is not on the restriction list.

Unless I'm wrong, all you can do is go to the immigration office and get a 7 day application for extension denied stamp for 1900bat. That's the longest they will give you.

Other than that you'd have to exit/re-enter the country and buy another 15 day visa on arrival when you show up.

You can apply for a tourist visa in Vientiane for example, unless your nationality is from the following restricted countries, in which case you can only apply in your home country.

Yes I paid 2000 baht for visa on arrival. But 7 days still seems short for me. Is possible to get tourist visa if I go to another country?
