TLDR : Answer Summary
An Indian passport holder can receive a Visa on Arrival for 30 days in Thailand. This visa can be extended by an additional 30 days at local immigration offices, but it requires an in-person visit, not an online process. Alternatively, applying for a tourist visa before traveling will grant a 60-day stay with a potential 30-day extension, allowing for a total of 90 days in Thailand.

Alternative if you didn't go down the tourist visa route. Is to include a border bounce on the back of visa exempt entry (extended once). It's a lot more hassel and works out more expensive than a tourist visa. With the tourist visa, you'd also have more options available further down the line...

Indian citizens are still entitled to a 30 visa exemption which can be extended with additional 30 days at your local immigration until 11th of November. This gives you 60 days in total.

It doesn't matter because you won't get 3 months.

You need to apply for a tourist visa before you travel. This will get you a 60 day stamp and you can apply one time for a 30 day extension. That's the only way to get 3 months as a tourist.
