Hasn't happened but just wondering.

If you are applying for DTV from Vietnam, and for some reason you are rejected can you still enter Thailand on the 60 day visa exempt etc. I cant see why you wouldn't be able to but just wondering.

Back Story - I will be headed to Thailand in November and will travel with my daughter to Vietnam to apply for the DTV ( soft Muay Thai) then once approved will head back to Thailand with her before heading home

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are applying for a DTV from Vietnam and your application is rejected, you can still enter Thailand using the 60-day visa exemption, provided that you meet the entry requirements based on your passport's eligibility. However, if you have a history of frequent visa runs, immigration officials may ask questions regarding your travels. It is generally not recommended to enter Thailand on a visa exemption while a visa application is pending.

Depends on your passport country. If you qualify for visa exempt entry then yes you can do that.

It is not recommended to do so whilst an application is in process.
