TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of entering Thailand from Laos with a 60-day single entry tourist visa obtained from the Thai embassy in Vientiane. Commenters confirm that it is possible to enter Thailand by land with this visa, and clarify that the rule limiting the number of land entries only applies to 30-day visa-exempt entries.
I entered from the US on a 60 day tourist visa. I'm going to Samui for 3p day extension. I will be here till august. Can I do visa runs to Myranmar for the remaining time? If not, what do I need to do to remain legal?
Yes but to my understanding you can go get a new single entry visa from a thai embassy outside of Thailand and get another 60 days and the another 30 form thai Immigration.
