Hello,

I am on a visa exempt entry, admitted on 29 Nov and valid until 12 Jan.

I am applying for a 30 day extension at BKK office (IT Square Laksi Plaza).

Q1. Can I apply as early as next Tuesday, 22 Dec ?

Q2. I have been staying at a condo rented via AirBnB since 1 Aug (90 days on STV, bounced, 45 visa exempt entry, bounce #2, 45 visa exempt entry #2).

The landlord did not file a TM30. Should I then self-file the TM-30 using As guidance the advice given by Tod in his 13 July 2019 post?

I will also print the AirBnB contract and last 2 monthly receipts (or should I get all receipts since August ?) payments and take them with me just in case.

Q3. Given that I have been in Thailand since July 19, in and out, should I also fill in a TM47 or does the 90 days filing rule only applies when you do more than 90 days at a stretch ?

Thank you kindly for any input on the above questions.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the possibility and timing of applying for a 30-day extension of their visa exempt entry, concerns about the necessary TM30 filing regarding their AirBnB stay, and whether they need to submit a TM47 for reporting their duration of stay in Thailand. Comments suggest it is possible to apply for an extension anytime, the necessity of the TM30 depends on the officer, and clarification that the TM47 reporting rule applies only if staying in Thailand for more than 90 days straight.

whether you need a TM30 or not is going to come down to the officer you're in front of

If you need to self file you do it at Chaengwattana NOT IT Square, but again you won't know IF you need it until you go apply for the extension

NO you don't do 90 day reporting

NO issue applying for the extension when ever you want to
