Need advice:
Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice regarding a late TM30 report and visa extension for my Indian friend.
My friend entered Thailand under the 60-day visa exemption scheme. Initially, they were traveling around without a fixed address and didn't plan to stay longer than 60 days, so no TM30 was filed. Now, they've decided to apply for a 30-day visa extension.
Here are my main questions:
1. Late TM30: Can we file the TM30 retrospectively at Immigration now? We expect to pay the late notification fine—what is the typical fine amount currently?
2. Filing as a tenant: I hold a 1-year lease agreement for my condo. Can I go to Immigration to submit the TM30 on my friend's behalf if my landlord signs a Power of Attorney (POA) giving me authority to report?
3. Required Docs: Aside from the POA, landlord’s ID/house registration, title deed (Chanote), lease agreement, and friend's passport, is there anything specific Immigration usually asks for in this scenario?
