Trying to do a 30 day extension on my original 60 day visa on arrival. I need the tm 30 and landlord won’t do it. Same old story. Going to a hotel for a night and getting my copy of tm 30. Do I need a passport photo also. Yes I know to take my passport to immigration. To be clear I’m asking do I need to bring an additional photo ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether an additional passport photo is necessary when applying for a 30-day extension after their 60-day visa on arrival. Comments indicate mixed experiences: some affirm that a photo is required, while others mention that recent changes at immigration offices may no longer necessitate it, as they can take your photo on-site. It's generally advisable to bring a photo, just in case.

Hi I went today with my Thai partner to get a 1 month extension on the 3 month Non immigrant o single entry visa and I was told I could do a 1 year retirement visa but will have to go out of the country to get the 30 day extension is this right thankyou for any advice
yes, sleep in a hotel for 2 nights, ask them to print out the TM30 so you can take that to Immigration along with your passport, copy of passport detail page, copy of entry stamp, copy of TM30, all copies signed in blue ink and 1900 THB. You will get the form needed to apply for the touristic extension on Immigration
Landlord probably not doing it as he has not reported you as staying there, which could lead to a problem for him, check into a hotel, used to get them to write a bin stamp it etc
