Non O-A extension. My passport will have exactly 12 months expiry. Will that be a problem or it has to be 18 months minimum?

The way this works is you need as much time left on your passport as the extension you're applying for

OR

You only get the extension granted until the date the passport expires.

So if your passport has 12 months left on it when your extension is due you shouold get a year extension.
