TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a tourist visa extension at Changwattana up to 45 days before your current visa expiration date. Since your visa expires on December 1st and you have 30 days of extension available, visiting the immigration office a few days earlier than the expiration date is acceptable, and you will not lose any days.
You can go in Bangkok 45 days before the Admitted until date to apply for an Extension of Stay. The extra days will be added to your current last day, so you will not loose days by going early.
