Hi all, I am in Bangkok and want to try to get a COVID Visa extension. I am here on a 30 day tourist visa (my visa expires on July 28). I read that you need to do a TM.6 and a TM.30 (from link I'll paste below). My problem is the TM.30 Notification of Housemaster or Hotel form. I am at a hotel will they do it?

I plan to go to Laksi Plaza location to apply for the Covid Extension.

Thank you for any information

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your COVID visa in Thailand while on a 30-day tourist visa, you need to ensure you have a TM.30 receipt from your hotel, as they process this online. Note that the TM.6 form is no longer required. First, you must extend your initial visa exemption for 30 days before applying for the COVID extension. Some commenters confirmed that immigration in Bangkok no longer requires the TM.30 form during the initial document check.

Have you gotten your regular 30 day extension already? You have to use that before you can apply for Covid extension.

No I have not done it. So from what Jani and you are telling me is to first do the TM. 7 extension form for 30 more days? I'm in Bangkok so do I take it to Laksi Plaza location? Thank you

4. First you need to extend the visa exemption for 30 days. After that you can apply for a covid extension.

Hi Jolli, Thank you

1. You're on a visa exempt entry, tourist visas are 60-90 days.

2. You don't need a tm6 anymore, they've suspended them.

3. Yes, you need a tm30 receipt. If you're staying in a hotel, hotels do them online. Ask for a printout of the screen shot from them or take a picture of the receipt with your phone and print it out.
