Evening guys. I apologize if it’s been asked before but here is the situation: my non b visa is going to expire on August 30st. I need to switch to Covid extension. Where exactly do I need to go? There are 3 immigration offices, am in Bangkok. And I’ve failed to get TM30 from my landlady as I am using Airbnb and she said she can’t do it. Do I must have it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on switching from a non-B visa to a Covid extension in Bangkok before the August 30th expiration. They are unsure of the necessary steps, particularly regarding the TM30 form, which their Airbnb landlady is unable to provide. The community comments raise questions about the nature of the non-B visa and suggest potential solutions for acquiring a TM30.

Can you book into a legit hotel a couple of nights before you report so they file a TM30 for you?

It may or may not work. Sometimes you are asked for a lease/contract copy as proof along with TM30 receipt when you are on a Non-immigrant related extension, in Bangkok. If you are getting long-term, it wouldn't work.

But OP's case that he is still on the first 90days and trying to getting an extension being unable to travel due to Covid, I don't know.

1. What is a non-B visa? Is this a stamp that says "extension of stay", or is this a full page sticker?

2. >And I’ve failed to get TM30 from my landlady as I am using Airbnb and she said she can’t do it

That *MIGHT* be a problem. AirBnBs are technically illegal in Thailand for short term (less then one month) stays. Sometimes Bangkok immigration asks for the TM30.

Do you have a lease or contract?

if you are on NonB currently, more likely you would be asked for a TM30 receipt in Bangkok.

To get a 60 day extension of stay, you will need

1. Your passport and:

a. a copy of your data ("picture") page

b. a copy of your most recent visa (if you have one)

c. a copy of your most recent stamp

d. a copy of your departure card

2. A TM30, filed in the immigration office.

3. The forms (each immigration office may have different forms, and want to use their special forms)

4. 2x passport pictures

5. 1,900 THB.

You will go to Changwattana, Counter N to apply.
