Hi all, just a question regarding visa-exempt extensions....
My partner and I are wanting to extend our time in Thailand. We entered visa-exempt.. can we get the 60day covid extension right away or have to do the 30 day first?
Also with visa-exempt do we need to supply a TM30 aswell?
We are using airbnb and seems difficult to get the form from the hosts we have contacted about this.
Thanks for any help ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry addresses the possibility of obtaining a 60-day COVID extension after entering Thailand on a visa-exempt basis. It questions whether the 60-day extension can be claimed immediately or if it's necessary to first secure a 30-day extension. Additionally, the asker is concerned about the TM30 form and its necessity when staying in an Airbnb, given the challenges in acquiring this form from their hosts.
depends on where you go to do the extensions. When I did my first one (30 days) I asked if I could get the 60 days covid extension and they said no I had to get the the entitled 30 days first. At the time I read on some post that some people were able to get the 60 days covid extension right away. I went to Samui Immigration. FYI the last day to be able to get a 60 days covid extension is May 30th. Unless things change and they extend this date as they did many times before. But if I were you, I would go before the 30th just to be safe. Good luck. As for TM30. I've never been asked for it.
