TLDR : Answer Summary
The user from the UK currently in Australia is inquiring about obtaining a 60-day tourist visa for Thailand, asking whether it can be done online or at a local consulate. Responses suggest contacting a Thai consulate in Australia for accurate information, as well as mentioning the possibility of applying for a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) at certain consulates.

Good Luck, I think the O/P can find a consulate in Australia and manage to apply for a tourist visa at one of them. :)

Apparently, you can also apply for an METV at certain consulates in Australia, if you wanted a longer stay in Thailand.

Contact a Thai Consulate in Australia. They can tell you if you can obtain a Tourist Visa for Thailand.

Where are you in AU ?

How long do you really plan to stay in Thailand?
