Can you obtain a METV for Thailand from outside your home country?

It is generally not possible for Australians to obtain a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa (METV) from outside of Australia. The only regional exception is that Australia does not have a residency requirement, allowing Australians to apply for a METV at the Thai Consulate in Perth. However, if other passport holders from authorized countries or legal residents of another country wish to apply, they can do so from their respective countries.
