Hi all! ๐Ÿ‘‹ I am an Australian passport holder currently in Thailand and wanting to apply for a 6-month validity multi-entry tourist visa. I canโ€™t go back to Australia to do this.

Does anyone know if itโ€™s possible to apply for this visa at the Royal Thai Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City or in Thailand itself? ๐Ÿ˜Š

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Australian passport holder currently in Thailand is inquiring about the possibility of applying for a 6-month multi-entry tourist visa. Responses indicate that tourist visas must be applied for from the home country or a country of legal residence, meaning applying from Thailand is not allowed. Additionally, it is noted that there is no 6-month tourist visa available for Thailand; the maximum duration is 60 days for Australians.

No such thing as a 6 month tourist visa in Thailand. Max is 60 days for Australians.

Probably easiest option is to apply for back to.back SETVs in a neighbouring country but check first if the embassy/consulate will allow this

This visa can only be applied for from your home country or country where you have legal residence.

Tourist visas cannot be applied from within Thailand.
