Hi to all of you!

As a canadian citizen how many months do I get if I apply for a tourist visa ?

It used to be 2 months plus the possibility of getting a 30 days extension.

Now, on their website it says 3 months for a single entry.

Do that 3 months included the extension or is it 3 months without the extension?

Thanks to you for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Canadian citizen applying for a tourist visa can stay in Thailand for 3 months for a single entry according to the latest information. It's essential to clarify whether this period includes the possibility of extending the stay. A commenter suggests that Canadians can travel visa-free for up to 6 months by utilizing a visa exemption policy and extending their stay, indicating that you can extend your stay by 30 days after arrival and then exit to a neighboring country like Cambodia before returning.

Canadian here .

You don't need a visa at all .

You just arrive visa free ,then extend by a month at immigration ,then Cambodia and back and do it all again ,for a total of at least 6 months .

You do need an ongoing ticket ,before the end of your first visa .not return ,just out of the country.

Highly recommend Angkor wat in cambodia
