I just wanna know one thing. Pls help to answer if you have experience about this. I have been in Thailand with visit visa for 2 months and the visa will expire at the end of April. I got the air ticket for 7th May so I extend 1 more month. I plan to come back Thailand on 25th May. I heard I am not allow to come back immediately as I extended visa before. Is it true? Is there any other way that I can come back? Pls advise me. Thank you ..

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster seeks clarity on whether they can return to Thailand immediately after extending their tourist visa. The consensus in the comments is that as long as they obtain a new tourist visa before returning, there shouldn't be any issues. It's noted that entering on a visa exemption may also be acceptable. Additionally, while the concept of 'back-to-back' visa renewals has some risks, many individuals have successfully done so in the past without facing significant problems. Overall, there is no strict requirement to stay out of the country after a visa extension.

You can fly into Thailand , unlimited times a year. No problem. Land border crossing is limited to twice year. But not always strictly adhered to.

Come back anytime, there's no requirement to stay out of the Country

I believe it's only if you did Covid extension

Just avoid Suvarnabhumi Airport, enter from Phuket, Chiang Mai, etc. Or if you enter via Suvarnabhumi make sure that you have an agent phone number to call to bribe your way in if they want to denied u.

Well

, a bit "visa/extension dependent" though. Y'r right concerning "if they found out living in Thailand on wrong visa". But the risk of refusing entry, is much much higher when you had Covid extensions (Unable to travel home). It is strange ofcourse when you leave the country and then come back after a couple of weeks. There are a lot of people refused entry when they had covid extension and then come back quickly...

it hasn’t to do with any kind of visa or extension. The only thing that matters for them is to find out if you are living in Thailand on the wrong visa or not.

If they feel like you’re living in Thailand on multiple tourist visas then you could be rejected entry into Thailand.

It’s not about covid visa or any kind of visa.

What you're talking about is 'back-to-back' visa.. I did it that way for a few years. There are risks involved so I recommend having a back-up plan. If you haven't done many you are less likely to have issues.

Get a new tourist visa before you come back and all will be fine. Even entering on visa exemption would probably be fine.
