For 60-day extensions on visa exempts, do you know if there are penalties if you go to Immigration after your "under consideration" stamp date? I go to Temporary Visa Extension Center at Muang Thong Thani in Pak Kret, Bangkok. Applied for extension 08/1, stamp says to go back 22/1, but I now cannot go back until 25/1 (after weekend). TIA!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry discusses the potential penalties for going to the Immigration office after the specified 'under consideration' stamp date for a 60-day visa extension in Thailand. Comments suggest that while there is general advice against delaying, personal experiences vary, with some individuals reporting successful late pickups. Clarification from a previous inquiry indicates that it is advisable to go within the 60-day allowance, but early pickups are not permitted.
they're usually hella hard on showing up on the date in your passport. I had them cancel an under consideration stamp from someone and make them apply ALL over again when they showed up 3 days late :(
