Hello again every one. 🙂

I want to extend my 60 day visa exempt for another 30, is this still possible?

I don’t have a TM6 form or TDAC because when I entered Thailand it hadn’t started yet.

I was advised I might only be able to extend for 7 days, can anyone clarify?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Edited: excuse my confusion, I thought it was a sixty day visa on arrived an turns out it’s “visa exempt” thanks 🙏🏼

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on extending their 60-day visa exemption for an additional 30 days, particularly in light of not having a TM6 form or TDAC upon entry. Responses indicate that the user should be able to extend their stay by 30 days at a local immigration office without needing the TM6 or TDAC, and should prepare specific documents and fees for the extension process.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be tdac.in.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

nothing changed. You can extend by 30 days for 1900 baht at your local immigration office.

thanks and excuse my ignorance, I have now been advised it’s a 60 day visa exempt. I just knew it wasn’t a tourist visa so thought it would be a visa on arrival.

If you really had a 15 days Visa on Arrival you only would get 7 days which in fact is an extension denied stamp. However If you entered on a 60 days visa exemption you should be able to apply for one 30 days tourist extension at your local immigration. You don’t need a TM.6 and TDAC is only for arrival.

Bring a receipt of your TM.30 address registration, a pass photo, copy of ID-page and last stamp in your passport plus 1900 baht in cash.

You don't need a TM6 or TDAC. Leave it blank on the application form. Never ask another question to whoever told you that you would only get 7 days, because they are an idiot.

the person who suggested that was NOT an idiot. The OP is at fault for using the wrong terminology. People on real visas on arrival are allowed only 15 days upon entry and they can't extend in country, yet some offices would give an "extension rejected" stamp that allows them to stay for up to 7 more days. So, the advise was accurate. The question was wrong, tho as the OP isn't on a visa on arrival.

But there is no 60 day Visa on Arrival so the "idiot" should not have been giving advice on one

anyone who would give advice without determining the actual circumstances is still an idiot :)
