Requirements for regular VOA 30 day extension, is this right?

- Copy of passport

- Copy of stamp

- Copy of entry card

- 1 photo

- TM30?

Missing anything?

What is the form name? I've only gotten it at immigration in the past.

Cheers

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirements for extending a 30-day visa exempt entry in Thailand typically include: - Copy of passport - Copy of the entry stamp - Copy of the immigration card - 1 passport photo - Form TM7 (which can be obtained at immigration) - 1,900 THB fee Note that no TM30 is required for extensions in Bangkok, and it is advisable to apply for the extension a few days before the current period expires to avoid long wait times at immigration.

and that is why we preach that getting the terminology correct is important. This entire thread could have been answered in one response instead of the dog and pony show question and answer that went on.

BUT at least the O/P has their answer now AND knows they are NOT here on a VOA but on a 30 day visa exempt entry stamp. (y)

Nob Lillard I deleted that comment.

Since 1975 foreigners has to be reported within 24 hours after arrival at an address at Immigration.

If you think that is new, okay, I guess it is 45 years old.

Nob Lillard To my knowledge, that is the extension of stay based on the COVID-19 virus. The OP is not asking to get that extension of stay.

Nob Lillard and that list is NOT for every immigration office :/

I'm not sure what this means exactly.

I'm guessing you have entered on a 30 day visa exempt, and you're seeking an extension of stay based on being a tourist? If yes, then the only thing missing is the TM7 form from the list for Bangkok. Bangkok does not ask for a TM30.

I suggest getting the extension of stay based on being a tourist about 3 days before it expires, due to the long lines that exist at immigration.

Please note visa on arrival is not the same as entering with no visa at the airport. For example Chinese get a visa on arrival and Americans get a 30 day stamp visa exempt entry. So if you got the visa exempt entry at the airport, you can get 1 normal 30 day extension. This is what I think you have based on your name. Therefore, no TM30 is required. Form name is TM7

You can not extend a Visa on Arriva with 30 days,

missing is the place where you like to apply

the application form TM7

and the most important part the 1.900 Thb fees

Called a 30 day Visa Exempt Entry, yes you can apply once for another 30 day of stay at Immigration office
Robert *******
And you had before and you have now the 30 day Visa Exempt Entry and not the 15 day visa on arrival.

Chiang Mai immigration. I'm sure you can extend once for 1,900, I've done it before.
