Got my visa exempt on entry, needing to extend for 30 days. Any advice on what documents etc are needed, how many days before exemption expires should I go and is it possible to do this at Buriram? TIA.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a visa exemption in Buriram for an additional 30 days, you will generally need to provide the following documents: a visa application form with a photo, a copy of your passport, a copy of your current visa stamp, and a TM6 form. It's advisable to apply anytime before your visa exemption expires, as some reports suggest that extensions can be made up to 45 days before expiration. The extension fee is usually around 1900 baht.

I just extended a visa exempt stamp today at MTT. Visa application with photo, copy of passport, copy of current stamp and tm6.. All signed of course. Passport with tm6 original. 1900 baht cash.

No other documents requested or offered (but had of course).

I believe Buriram allows 45 days prior so for visa exempt basically anytime.

This is what’s needed for Phuket. I suspect Buriram would be similar.
