Which immigration office should I visit for a 60-day Covid extension in Bangkok, and how does the extension duration work?
I entered Thailand on 25.09.2021 on a Visa exempt in Phuket. I did my "standard 30 days" visa extension in Phuket Patong immigration. Now I reside in Bangkok and would like to apply for 60 days Covid extension here. Which immigration office should I go to Chaengwattana or Muang Thong Thani Immigration? My current stamp is valid till 08.12.2021. As far as I know it is not yet offical that the covid visa extension program will continue until the end of December 2021 so I was thinking about going to apply before 26 November. Will the 60 days be added on top of the current stamp or the time counts from the moment I'm granted the extension? Thank you

They are unsure whether to go to Chaengwattana or Muang Thong Thani Immigration and question whether the 60 days will be added to their current visa expiration date or counted from the approval of the extension.
