Hi all. May need to leave the country, visa exempt up on the 26th but want to get another 30 days. Lampang immigration may not give me another visa due to landlord not registering us. I am in Chae Hom, 40 minutes out of lampang. Does anybody know if it would be possible to get a van or driver to take us to the nearest border please. It is myself and three kids. Thank you :-)

You can print out the TM30 form, you find in the files section of this page. Ask your landlord a copy of his ID and housebook both signed by him and register the address.

Mae Sot and Mae Sai are both about 5 hours away from Lampang.

I have no experience with border runs for more than 14 years. Can not help you with that. If your landlord does not understand, you can show him this video, its funny but very well explained in Thai and English.

ALL thai immigration offices in the country will be closed on Friday July 27th and Monday July 30th. (Before you ask, border crossings are open like normal) ;)

The thai consulates in the area will be closed as follows;

- Kuala Lumpur, Penang Malaysia - Monday July 30th

- Kota Bharu Malaysia - Sunday July 29th

- Vientiane, Savannakhet Lao - Monday July 30th

- Phnom Penh Cambodia - Monday July 30th

it's 1600 I think. My landlord sorted it out on my rent as it was just an accident but it all depends on your landlord
