TLDR : Answer Summary
The post addresses the recent announcement about travel options for spouses of Thai nationals seeking to return to Thailand amidst current regulations. The user inquires about quarantine requirements for Thai nationals and the process for booking alternative state quarantine. This is last night's message from the Australian Ambassador, from about 4:00 on he talks of the compassionate grounds application. As he's getting info straight from the Thai government this may be of interest to anyone looking at this avenue to return to Thailand

I'll just wait to see what the embassy says I should have quite a good case to travel with her us beening married and having a one year old daughter and my wife being 3 months pregnant so you can understand why I'm wanting to travel with her .but will wait and see what they say

I hope things go as planned. State Q options are dotted around BKK and Pattaya. The govt choose for you. Sometimes you need to pay bet 37k-70kBHT per room. My neice was back from Canada and sent to a hotel near Bkk.

Thais are to contact the Thai Embassy where they are now at...request repatriation flight to Bangkok. Cost of flight is hers...cost of 14 days quarantine free from Thai government.

EVERYONE comin' in quarantines.

Contact the consulate in the UK to get the list of quarantine hotels here

We don't have any more information than they mentioned on the announcement at this time.

Your wife is thai, have her start googling around or calling around ;)

This is all we have for the entry request procedure
