Schaun mer mal, dann sehn mer scho! Ich zahl meine Steuern sowieso in D. Da die Thais ja explizit ausgeschlossen haben, dass es zur Doppelbesteuerung kommt, dürfte ein übersetzter Steuerbescheid aus Deutschland in der Sache dienlich sein!

That may be true. But the law clearly states that only money transferred to Thailand is taxed. The bank account linked to my card is not in Thailand, so nothing is being transferred.

Yes, that's clear. But if I'm not officially allowed to open an account at all, then there's no need to even worry about taxes in any way. 🥳🥳🥳

If I don't have a Thai bank account, I can't transfer money to Thailand, and only the money that is transferred needs to be taxed. Very convenient.
