James Miller, I have $20K in a US bank, but not in Thailand so this is GREAT news because I thought I needed proof of the 500K Baht amount in a Thai bank account. Thank you!

They want a physical address so get a friend from whatever city you've lived in and ask them if you can use their address and to vouch for you (if required). I gave them my bank statement and address where I rent a room and that was enough (for me).
