Sorry, I mixed up "extension" and "permit to stay". With 1 staff, we could still all go (WP-holder plus 2 dependents), but we'd have to border-bounce every 90 days to get another permit to stay. RIght?

I didn't realize that! I thought with 4 Thai staff I get 1yr extension, and with 1 Thai staff I get 90day extension.

But if I understand you correctly, my wife+daughter can go as my dependents only with 4 Thai staff. With 1 staff, it's only for myself?

Thanks. With only one Thai employee in my company, I think extension of stay is only 90 days, right? And that would be for all of us, and after 90 days we'd have to border bounce (assuming no amnesty then etc.)

With student/guardian option though, extension of stay would be 1 year, I think, so this would be better for them.

I don't think that's right. With a valid work permit you can.

We want (need) to move to TH as soon as possible for various reasons, just postponing isn't a good option for us. My question was rather, can someone confirm that WP-3's are not being issued now? Or is this perhaps just a quirk of the local (Samui) branch?
