Yeah thats what I am worried about. She has worked in the US for over 40 years a college university graduate and has a California ID card, with all that you would think her birth certificate would be on file somewhere right??

we have tried the US immigration and they want a copy of her birth certificate even though she has been in the US since she was 7 and was adopted over here. No one will tell us any info. If she was adopted by a US citizen would she still need a green card? Sorry it's so much info and all confusing. We have been trying for 3 years now and dealing with immigration.

She doesn't have anyone left in Thailand that can do a POA for her. And she is sick with deminia, so she hardly remembers anything.
