the vast majority of stories shared here are anecdotal-- the tw change was more factual than most posts!

it may appear easy, as obtaining a visa seems to me-- simply, as Ian suggests, go to an embassy website, but countless, repetitive questions are allowed when the answers are easily obtained on the thai embassies or consulates websites. but, some very recent change that someone might have just missed, but relied on to qualify for their visa is current and valuable information

what's "not pretty" about a sharing or exchange of information? if the particular topic doesn't interest you, find the one that does, but i think just from the comments here, you see many that do find the transfer of money to qualify for a visa, visa-related, and useful information.

amazing, how can being able to obtain the funds necessary to get a visa extension, not be visa related?? no funds oer the riles, NO VISA. so helping others understand how rules have changed, and what they might need to do now in order to successfully meet the financial requirements of obtaining a visa extension is not visa related???

this is important for those trying to obtain a visa extension-- to realize that tw and bkk bank are not necessarily a sure thing anymore-- if one assumes they are and depends upon it, and never checks, they will be in for a very sad, upsetting surprise when applying for their extension.

and it sppears that using tw, regardless of whether u use bkk bank, which i do, will no longer show tw transfers as international transfers--- key to obtaining a visa extension-- now bkk bank, as it did to my most recent tw transfer that arrived just yesterday to my bkk bank acct, is listed as an interbank transfer via SMART.

i sm baffled how one could say learning how bestbto meet the financial requirements of obtaining a visa is not visa related!?

but, regardless uf u believe that, what harm is done by allowing more comments and more information shared to help, instead of complying with a stricter, purist visa only?? doesn't make any sense
