When you get your PDF, you go outside Thailand and then you want to get in again, they will see on the DTV that when you applied for it, you have been still in Thailand. Better safe than sorry I would say.

You have to show that you have at least 13k € in your bank account, a proof that I am self employed/freelancer, passport copy, passport photo, estimated arrival in Thailand and place of stay (you don’t have to book in advance), and that’s basically it. For Mui Thai and cooking classes it will be difficult to apply, as they are barely any schools yet, who are accepted by the Thai government.
