Normally travellers lean towards AXA thai as they provide a specific document for you to upload into Thai Pass.

As for your 2nd question, I would suggest buying an extra insurance from the US for extra peace of mind as now all Thai insurance companies do not cover you if you are an asymptotic case and not in a hospital.

, thanks for replying. I have read from some members in this group that the immigration gave them a hard time on entering even though their previous trip was only a 1 day overstay.

Is it safe to say that it really depends on the IO that I meet at the airport?
