what about getting the air tickets? you have to do that previous to ask for the VISA, what about if you dont get the VISA, then you lose the money of your air tickets ... or it is assumed that you will get the VISA 99.9%?

Lets say kind of sabbatical year ... but I can take profit of it for improving my English, get massage lessons, etc ,etc or even trying to find a job there if it is possible. And obviously travel around the country as I have done in the past ...
