I’m retired marine at 100%. My wife and I got the Thai Elite visa. Expensive, but it saves you so much time and hassle. DTV’s too sketch. Thai Elite gets you a Thai bank account, drivers license, I was at TE immigration today and it took without exaggeration, 2 minutes and I was back on the scooter. Fast pass at airports and airport lounges. And they just added a 4th tier that’s even less expensive at ฿650k for 5 years. We don’t need to leave the county and we can enter and exit as many times as we want. Plus there’s a booklet of perks from vacations, medical, vision, dental, event tickets, drivers. The list goes on.

Do the elite. My girlfriend and I just got ours and it was super easy and took about a month and a half from start to finish. And they affix your visa at the airport upon arrival.

not a problem at all. Hit me up if you have any other questions. The people that email you (your handler), after you apply really really help. They respond to emails super quick and helped along the way. Good luck bro!

I would say do it in Australia. I did mine while living in the US. Just approved on the 21st and the visa will get affixed as soon as I get to BKK airport. You have a personal EPA with a sign grab you, fast track through immigration and the visa takes 30-45 mins. If you wait until you get to a Thailand, which happened to my girlfriend (hers was approved later), now she has to set an appointment up in Bangkok 5-7 days in advance with a TM-30.

Airport visa affixing is way simpler.
