It's extremely easy to get a TR Visa in HK. Take the red eye and land in the morning. The Airport Express Train takes you to Central where you take 1 stop to Admiralty Station MTR. Exit B. Walk upstairs and use the walkway to get to the Fairmont House bldg. Take elevator to 8th floor. Opens at 9am. Take your passport photos, a copy of your passport and entry visa if you don't have an HK ID. Fee is less than $500 HK Dollars and it takes one day to process. You can only submit and pickup before lunch to get there early both days. Easy peasey.
