It sounds like my easiest option will be to re-enter Thailand on the 30 day visa exempt and then get the 1900 baht 30-day extension. 👍

It's funny, I tried to get a Thai tourist visa in Hanoi the last time I was visiting, and the embassy ended up being closed due to Vietnamese holidays, and the remaining appointment availability was sparse, and then they decided to close several hours early the day I finally had an appointment. It truly felt like a comedy of errors. 😅 I'll skip that and just pay the 1900 baht in Thailand. 👌
