TLDR : Answer Summary
Visitors looking to experience the hill tribes in Thailand are encouraged to consider taking a tour, as many tribes, including the Black Teeth tribe and the Long Neck tribe, are not permitted to leave their villages. Popular locations for encountering these tribes include Chiang Mai and Pai, with options like hot springs nearby to enhance the visit. Additionally, there are discussions on how to support hill tribes through responsible tourism.

Actually to them it is a compliment. Obviously you have never been there! You are not beautiful because your teeth are white. They believe their teeth is a beautiful atribute. Who are you to question? Also, they do want to see you as its a source of revenue. Grow up a little. Are you gonna say long neck is another insult? FB!?!

No ethnolog ever mentioned the existance of a

" black teeth tribe" ....

Many people from all different tribes have black teeth , could you tell us how they get their black teeth or did you just visited a himan zoo ??)) and why ???? I'm curious about your knowledge about these people 😂.

They die their teeth with the dye extracted from the bark of a tree .all tribes dye their teeth black , Akha, Lisu, Lahu, Hmong, Yao Padaung,Palong etc ... but there is not one tribe called " Black teeth " and yes call them by this name is an insult , same thing for the tribe some ignorant racist people , call ," long neck " .... that lis very insulting to them !!! They are PADAUNG , they are a small group ,part of a much bigger group called "KARENNI" ... .Completely different from the Karen in spite of what this group pretend so they think they are

Entitled to exploit them in human zoos call these tribes Black teeth , or Long Neck is as insulting as if they call you Fat Belly tribe , or Dog Smile tribe , because that is why they dye their teeth they don't want to have a dog smile with white teeth .

And to the guy who told me before " you have never been there ," I just think he's been there once with a bunch of tourists , with a guide who don't speak a word of the tribal languages and this guy might have stayed one hour or less in the village , so he can pretend he knows everything . I've seen a lot of these Fat Bellies . They are a lot laugh ..full of b,**s**

You want to see So called " Hill tribe " people , but they don't really want to see you !!!anyway like anybody , they work during the day , so villages are empty . . You can always hire a thai guide who generally won't speak the tribe language so he will feed you with bullshit .

You better go to the zoo .

they don't want your money they only try to make a living to feed their kids and family . What kind of distorted mind don't understand that ??? It Would be interesting to know how you make a living , and feed your family and kids ,

What kind of social protections you get from the government of your country , how rich and protected are you compare to these people who have to make money every day everyday everyday , to survive ....so yes maybe they want to sell you a few things to have some money to live today . And tomorrow they will try again .

And the more you will bargain with them , the more you will oblige them to eat " shit and poor food . And you will stay rich and fat ......
