ok well that’s good to know, yeah I bought the ticket through 12go Asia, provided passport info, all that…I’ve been using them to get all around Thailand and haven’t had an issue yet, but since now there’s a border crossing involved I thought I’d check and see what the extra requirements might be
ok and then what? I walk back to the van in Thailand and then the van keeps going to siem reap? Or I get into a different van in cambodia? I’m very confused by this process now
so what’s the exact issue with the vans? They make it hard for everyone no matter where they’re from? Any way to make the prepare and make the process go smoother?
ok well that’s good to know, since it’s already Wednesday and my trip is Monday I wasn’t sure if the turnaround would be fast enough but if it comes in two days I’ll apply tonight…I talked to some other travelers who were planning to do the same thing and seemed pretty confident it would be fine, glad I double checked before I left
Ian Reynolds huh, ok, I thought it somewhat implied since I said I was taking a van rather than driving one, but I went ahead clarified that it’s a ticket in a pass van, hopefully that ilicits more clear responses
damn it’s only a 6 or so hour drive in the middle of the afternoon, they fucking fall asleep at the wheel? Really? I’m an american, I can drive 6 hours standing on my head, I’ll drive the damn thing if it’s such a problem
Declan Connollyno I’m planning to leave Thailand and spend maybe a week or so in Cambodia, then move on to Vietnam for a few weeks after that…may come back to Thailand after but undecided at this point so no not a visa run
Ok, so do you reckon I’ll be better off if I just do the e-visa ahead of time? Will that make the process smoother? I leave Monday, I can probably get it in time if it only takes a few days
