Anyone know what time the immigration division 1 office opens . As online it says 8.30 however on the website it says the IT square doesn’t actually open until 10 am

Reckon you'll be fine. They do only handle a limited number per day, but going early-- you'll be fine.

You seem well sorted, but here's my copy & paste blurb:

Only ONE 30 day extension possible, then you must leave LOS

IT Square Laksi, 3rd floor for visa exempt entry stamp extension

adjacent to Laksi Train Station -- convenient by train or part of the way by BTS to taxi

you need to bring:

** your passport (Duh) 🙄

*passport size photo

*signed in blue ink copy of passport information page

*signed in blue ink copy of entry stamp

* print out copy of visa (if applicable)

* 1,900 baht

* infinite patience with a smile

(photo and copy services available there)

I suggest getting your copies & photo elsewhere prior to going.

Your hotel or residence should have filed your TM 30

Get copy or screenshot

#go early in the morning

# fill in 3 forms available at the office

# your address & local phone number

Make an online appointment, but you'll be able to get in the building as early as 07:00 I reckon. Bring your own blue ink pen.

on a normal day if you go in the morning (say before 10ish am) you'll be in and out in under 30 minutes. It's very quick.

it was a holiday on Thursday & Friday, so the first day immigration opens will be absolutely hectic and not a normal day at all.

I'd avoid going on Tuesday too if it's not necessary, will still have some of backlog from the 4 day weekend.

whilst never recommended to intentionally do, it's not a big issue overstaying your visa in Thailand by a few days. **As long as you aren't caught by the cops.** Immigration don't really care, you just pay your fine at immigration and they'll still give you an extension stamp or let you fly out and back in.

So if there are some major issues and you can't get the extension before your stamp runs out, I wouldn't stress too much.

wouldn't stress then, go Wednesday. I've made the mistake of going the day after a long weekend and it was painfully long, normally it's 30mins tops. Hopefully by Wednesday it will be that quick if you get there before 10am.
